Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them." That's so rude, I thought. To do such a thing is the same as telling your father you wished he were dead. The inheritance is divided up after the father dies. He should beat his disrespectful son for asking this.
