A Poetic Look at Egypt

Gazing overseas, I see attempted revolution
Looking behind me I see nothing but confusion
Over there, the flock is going feral
I shake my head, because this one is sterile

The shepherds heavy hands
Have been slowly tightening the bands
Draping heavy chains
Until no longer was the flock willing to take the pain

Get in line.
Everything is fine
Do as I say
It will be okay

Hear no evil, see no evil
The population instead began an upheaval
I crack a wolfen grin
Since this defiance isn’t a sin

I turn and join my pack
The ones who have my back
We will bite these sheep in the ass
And maybe get some change to come to pass
