Howl’s Author Spotlight: Da Nekidgoat

One time a week, I’m going to start highlighting one of the authors of Howls From The Wolfpack. It’s a collected works filled with poetry, quotes and essays, divided by author. This week I will introduce you to Da Nekidgoat.

Obviously not his real name, but a pen name, and Goat as he is affectionately called, posted on the old stalkingtheflock.com page. Now he posts on the forum. In my opinion, he is a poetic genius. One who shortly after he landed on the forum, inspired a few of us to try our hand at poetry. He makes it look easy, observing, and putting it in writing. I would be surprised if he didn’t direct rhyme in his conversations.

When the book idea came out, Da Goat was asked to filter through the poetry submissions, with the help of whoever he picks. He also has his own poetry in the book. Some of my favorites are, Be Not Satisfied With Being “Normal” But Stand Apart, The 1%, A Call To Arms, What Is It?, The Old Wolf, Wolf Wannabe, Castration By Indoctrination, The Anthem and Wannabe Warning, its hard to pick the best, and they’re 19 more in the book. All promoting or reflecting on the virtues of being yourself, not what others want you to be. He even tackled Christmas songs and I do have a favorite one of those, ‘Twas the Night before a Wolf’s Christmas.

For more of Da Nekidgoat’s poetry, look for Howl’s From The Wolfpack in the early summer.
