By the way, the plot was two religions fighting for power. A few Catholics wanted to kill the Protestant king so they can put a Catholic in his place. Not that admirable…
Though the message in V is slightly different, fighting for democracy in a tyrannical, dystopian country. For a graphic novel written in the ’80s you can see how its prophetical in a way. Watch this clip, with subtitles, and see if you notice similarities between what’s being described and what happening.
