How Bad Is Selfishness?

A word said with such disdain when applied to another. It’s said like a bad thing. But to me selfishness is only bad when you think THE WORLD revolves around you.
Yeah I’m pretty selfish. My world has only has two people on it, and when people want to make their problems our problems I get annoyed…
